The Oris designers set out with the aim of creating an all terrain watch that was durable, practical and its toughest watch to date. Constant testing and feedback was essential part or the development process Initially, the Col Moschin (9th Italian Parachute Assault Regiment) commandoes wore ProDiver Chronographs as they jumped out of an aeroplane at 9000m and during diving exercises where they reached depth of over 40m. The watches were subjected to low temperatures during alpine treks and endurance exercises.
